I started my undergraduate studies at Czech Technical University in Prague in 1998. In 2004 I obtained an Engineer degree from the department of electromagnetic field. I started my doctoral studies at the same university and department in the same year. The topic of my doctoral thesis was "New Bulky Metamaterial Structures and Their Applications in Microwave Technology." The doctoral thesis was successfully defended in 2006. Between 2007 and 2009, I was contracted as a post-doc researcher in the Microwave group at the department of electronics and electromagnetism at the University of Seville (Spain). Currently, I am an associate professor at the department of electromagnetic field at Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2006 I am also head of the National Reference Laboratory for Non-Ionizing Radiation at The National Institute of Public Health.

  • Electromagnetic Field Theory I – an introductory course starting with electrostatics and finishing with a plane wave. The course does have a

Youtube channel with all lectures (Czech Only).

  • Electromagnetic Field Theory II – the second part of the series explaining electromagnetic waves, radiation, and guided waves. The course does have a

Youtube channel with all lectures (Czech Only).

  • Electromagnetic Field Theory III – advanced course on electromagnetic field extending the introductory courses by principles such as equivalence, showing integral equation formulation of electrodynamics, or studying an electromagnetic scattering.
