I have started my undergraduate studies at Czech Technical University in Prague in 1998. In 2004 I have obtained Engineer degree at the department of electromagnetic field. In the same year I have started my doctoral studies at the same university and department. The topic of my doctoral thesis was "New Bulky Metamaterial Structures and Their Applications in Microwave Technology". The doctoral thesis was successfully defended in 2006. Between the years 2007 and 2009 I have been contracted as post-doc researcher in the Microwave group at the department of electronics and electromagnetism in the University of Seville (Spain). At the present moment I am associate professor at the department of electromagnetic field at Czech Technical University in Prague. From 2006 I am also head of the National Reference Laboratory for Non-Ionizing Radiation.
