Description:Thermotherapy and especially hyperthermia is a means for treating cancer. It is based on increasing temperature in tumor by microwave energy. The tumor is more sensisitive to temperature increase than normal tissue. The project aims to model EM field in body which determines temperature distribution. Important part of the treatment is a so-called applicator, an “antenna” that converts energy from coaxial line to the tissue.
