Fluctuations of Refractivity Vertical Profiles in Turbulent Boundary Layer

Description:

Fluctuations of the refractive index in the turbulent atmosphere cause random impairments of the received signal of fixed wireless links in radio and optical frequency bands. The extent of these fluctuations is usually described by the structure constant for the refractive index. The aim of the project is to analyse the vertical changes of this parameter in the atmospheric boundary layers based on long-term refractivity measurements on a 150 m mast in Podebrady.
