Significant participation at the EuCAP 2025 conference in Sweeden

The Computational Electromagnetics group together with another member of the department recently participated in the international conference European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2025), which was held in Stockholm from March 30 to April 4, 2025. This important event, organized under the auspices of the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), is one of the largest world conferences focused on antennas and electromagnetic wave propagation and annually attracts more than a thousand scientists and engineers from academia and industry.

Contributions of members of our department were presented at the conference, thus sharing the results of their work with the international community. At the same time, they actively participated in expert sections dedicated to topics close to their research focus, such as theoretical limits of antennas, optimization of electromagnetic structures and characteristic modes.

Participation in EuCAP 2025 provided not only an overview of current developments in the field, but also a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world in person and to strengthen international cooperation, especially with research groups from Finland, Switzerland, Sweden and France.

Professor Miloslav Čapek, the head of the research group, once again played a significant role at the conference. He served as the chairman of the expert sections and, together with Professor Mats Gustafsson, led the continuation of the successful course Innovative Antenna Design: Insights Through Modal Decomposition, which was part of the official accompanying program of the conference. Professor Čapek thus once again confirmed his leading position in the field of antenna research.
