CNC Milling Machine for PCB Manufacturing

The department’s equipment has been expanded with a CNC milling machine from the Czech company Wegstr. The Wegstr CNC milling machine is a compact machine designed for precision engraving or PCB milling. Thanks to its small working area and high-resolution stepper motor, it is suitable for detailed work, such as on printed circuit boards. It will now be possible to produce prototypes of planar antennas or other printed circuit boards directly at the department, including the option of creating vias.

The milling machine has the following parameters:
– Working area (X × Y × Z): 140 × 200 × 40 mm
– Spindle speed: 11,000 rpm
– Power supply: 100–240 V AC, 1.2 A, 50/60 Hz
– Stepping accuracy: 0.004 mm per step (i.e., 4 µm)
– Machine weight: approx. 7 kg
